TSIA: State of Knowledge Management 2015

The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) has released the findings of the TSIA annual knowledge management survey, which identifies problem areas in companies’ knowledge management programs.

Key problem areas cited this year include:

  • Lack of mobile access
  • Lack of videos
  • Identifying gaps in the knowledge people are looking for
  • Keeping the knowledge base up-to-date
  • People searching on Google rather than the knowledge base (see our related infographic, 5 Reasons Google Is Not a Support Tool)

These are issues we had identified, too, and have resolved through our product, such as with our video creation tool and Intelligent Knowledge Builder™ that finds gaps in the knowledge base. We’re glad to see we’re on the same page as the knowledge management community.
