Current Openings: Sales Representative

RightAnswers is a leading provider of knowledge driven self-service and support analyst solutions for the internal support market. The company current provides solutions for over 500 organizations world-wide and has over 1.5 million enterprise end user using it self-service solutions. Since 2002, RightAnswers has grown by over 200% fueled by its unique offering which includes software, content and client success services delivered in software as a service offering. We are currently looking for proven sales professionals that have the skills and experience to sell our highly successful products direct to clients.

General Summary

To uncover, cultivate, and close new account business over the phone. This individual must have solid experience in selling software via the phone along with the communication skills necessary to working effectively with enterprises of all sizes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively make outbound calls to potential customers concerning new products to continue to build pipeline and opportunities.
  • Proven experience selling software applications ranging from 25K to 100K.
  • Experience selling to the Director level within organizations. Guide clients through an effective sales process, which includes qualification, demonstration, technical conversations, proposal submitting, and final negotiation.
  • Provide software demonstrations to prospects.
  • Demonstrate good ability to discuss both product and features benefits and also tie the solution to overall business benefits.
  • Experience in using sales force automation tool to manage activity, capture contact info, and track opportunity lifecycle.
  • Close sales, meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Proven desire to understand the business, product capabilities and on an ongoing basis growing your understanding of customer’s compelling event, and critical success factors and create a sales campaign appropriate to this knowledge.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity, forecast reports, and present key account opportunity plans.

Job Specifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years inside or outside sales experience
  • Ability to identify customer needs and sell over the phone
  • Proficient use of MS Office and sales automation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High energy, assertive and results oriented
