Management Team
Jeff Weinstein
As CEO and President of RightAnswers, Jeffrey Weinstein
has responsibility for setting the company's
strategic direction and driving its overall growth.
Mr. Weinstein has spent more than 17 years helping companies
develop successful sales and marketing strategies, and build the
infrastructure necessary to position themselves for rapid growth and expansion.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Weinstein served
as Vice President of Marketing and Strategic
Alliances at ePresence, a market leader in
delivering secure identity management solutions
based on directory technology. Mr. Weinstein joined
ePresence following its acquisition of Strategic Network Designs (SND), an IT consulting group
specializing in sales automation solutions, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
During his tenure at SND, he headed a comprehensive sales and marketing effort
that doubled revenues within 18 months and led to the company's acquisition by ePresence in 2000.
Previously, Mr. Weinstein was National Sales Manager for Magic Solutions, Inc., where he was recruited
to build out the national field sales organization. He has also held sales management and marketing positions
at NYNEX and AGS Information Services.
Mr. Weinstein received an MBA in Business
Administration from Monmouth University, and a BS in Chemistry from Alfred University.
Michael Pallatta
Mr. Pallatta is responsible for RightAnswers' sales strategy and
organization. He has more than 14-years of sales and executive
sales management experience, building successful sales organizations
and corporate business models from companies that range from startup
through multinational firms.
Prior to joining RightAnswers, Mr. Pallatta served as
the Director of Sales, Eastern Region for Extensity, Inc.,
an enterprise software firm focused on Employee Relationship
Management. At Extensity, he grew the sales organization
from the ground up to the company's highest revenue-producing
region in 1999, 2000 and 2001, with the firm's revenues growing
to over $25 million. Previously, Mr. Pallatta was Vice President
of Sales for Magic Solutions, Inc. where he built a 60-person sales
force and delivered over $50 million in annual sales before Magic's
acquisition by Network Associates. Mr. Pallatta was also
member of the Board of Directors of Magic.
Mr. Pallatta received a BS in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science
from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
Keith Berg
As Vice President of Professional Services, Mr. Berg oversees the
successful implementation of RightAnswers Self-Service in new customers'
environments. He has been with RightAnswers since the Self-Service
application's roll-out, and is responsible for ensuring its success
through growth in the Professional Services organization and RightAnswers' vast
partner network.
Prior to joining RightAnswers, Mr. Berg spent over five
years at Extensity, Inc. There he played an integral part in the
company's growth from $1 million to over $25 million. He was
directly responsible for creating a Pre-Sales department that
played a key role in many Fortune 500 sales opportunities.
Before his tenure at Extensity, he held development and development
operations management roles at Dendrite International.
There he managed resources and relationships for the technical operations of
seven of the country's largest pharmaceutical companies.
Mr. Berg received a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
Mark Sutter
Mr. Sutter is an expert in Search technologies and plays a key role in
creating the technical strategy and vision for RightAnswers. As Vice
President of Engineering, he works with both customers and partners,
focusing on the design, construction and deployment of RightAnswers
Knowledge-Pak family of products.
Before joining RightAnswers, Mr. Sutter worked for Inktomi Corporation &
Verity, Inc.; both recognized leaders in the enterprise search market. While at
Inktomi, he worked on the Inktomi Content Delivery Suite, which centralized the
delivery of content from multiple web servers. Additionally, he specialized in
developing automated routines used in highly scalable and parallel systems.
With both Inktomi and Verity, Mr. Sutter worked as an engineer responsible for
designing and implementing enterprise search solutions scaling millions of documents
that spanned multiple web servers around the globe.
Mr. Sutter received a BS from the University of Washington, a PhD. in physics
from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a Phi Beta Kappa member.
Simon Yelsky
Mr. Yelsky joined RightAnswers in November 2004. Prior to that, he was the
Practice Director at Ness Technologies where he was responsible for Knowledge
Management and Portal Services. He has broad experience in Document & Knowledge
Management as well as portal technology.
He has worked with some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies where he
led the effort to architect and implement a state-of-the-art knowledge discovery
platform that utilized advanced knowledge management technologies such as conceptual
search engines, text mining and interactive content collaboration. He also led the
effort to design a Product Intelligence platform to improve the overall pipeline
management within the R&D environment. This involved structuring the research process,
mapping information attributes to the decision flows, designing business rules to
facilitate idea generation and screening, and architecting the overall technology platform.
He has been a Technical Director at Information Builders & Citibank in New York
City and worked for First Empire State Corporation in Buffalo, NY.
Fluent in Russian, Mr. Yelsky is a U.S. Junior Chess
Champion and a National Chess Master. He received a
degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and
holds and MBA in Finance & International Business form the New York University.
